Garden to Table

As the year progresses, I think it will be fun to see how much food the garden produces and how that looks at supper time.

May 31, Garden to Table



Here’s what was on the menu last night:
  • Lettuce – Red Romaine, Green Romaine & Buttercrunch
  • Kale – Lacinato, White Russian & Curled Scotch
  • Arugula
  • Pea leaves
  • Tatsoi
  • Onions
  • Japanese Mustard Greens
  • Viroflay Spinach (not pictured)

Not a bad haul for this time of year! We’ve been eating this variety most days for the last couple of weeks. The idea of providing fresh fruits and veggies for the family is really exciting!
